A reproduction replacement Corgi Toys 266 Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Spare Wheel Ring & Tyre Kit.
The spare wheel rim is a hollow ring with a stud that is mounted to the running board on the right of the model.
The kit includes a fake rivet head to aid in fitting. Drill a small hole into the stud on the ring. File the fake rivet down to make the pin section smaller and tapered like a drawing pin so that it will fit the recess in the ring stud.
The tyre is fitted by piercing a hole in the flat face before fitting to the ring. Dry fit to the model to see that it will be match to the running board.
Fit with some 2 part epoxy glue mixed and applied with a toothpick. Use a very small amount of glue but always equal amounts of the A & B solutions.
