A reproduction replacement Dinky Toys  25 Series Truck Type 1 or 2 Chassis Tow Pin.

Replacement towing pin for any of the Dinky Toys 25 Series models with type 1 or type 2 chassis.

This is a pin type hook to connect the various trailers from the same years. Tin plate and wire draw bars or hitches will work with this hook type.

Prepare the chassis of the model to provide a clean surface. Remove excess metal from both the chassis and the replacement hook.

Dry fit to confirm position before gluing. Use a 2-part epoxy glue, mix well and apply sparingly to both parts. Position hook on the chassis and leave glue to set.

There may be some cross over between the type 2 and type chassis. Some chassis identified as type 3 appear to have this pin as well as the later style curved hook.
