A reproduction replacement Dinky Toys  25 Series Truck Type 3 or 4 Chassis Tow Hook.

A diecast replacement hook for the later issue chassis types 3 & 4.

This is a curved hook to connect the various trailers with wire draw bars or hitches.

Prepare the chassis of the model to provide a clean surface. Remove excess metal from both the chassis and the replacement hook.

Dry fit to confirm position before gluing. Use a 2-part epoxy glue, mix well and apply sparingly to both parts. Position hook on the chassis and leave glue to set.

There may be some cross over between the type 2 and type 3 chassis. Some chassis identified as type 3 appear to have this hook style as well as the earlier tow pin style.
