Dinky Toys 969 or 988 Base for Parabolic Antenna Dish.

The 969 BBC TV Extending Mast Vehicle has this part fitted to the end of the inner mast extension with the flat face facing outwards and the dish antenna mounting pin fits inside that.

This part also suits the earlier version of the 988 ABC TV Transmitter Van with the triangular hole in the roof. The later issues of that model have a simple circular hole. The Antenna Dish has a circular mounting pin which fits into this base.
