Suits the Dinky Toy models:
- 983 set Car Carrier and Trailer
- 984 Car Carrier only
- 985 Car Carrier Trailer only
- 989 Car Carrier only
The first 3 are the common red body and sides with grey ramps or decks. The later issue of 984 was renumbered as 989 with a lemon yellow cab, grey side panels and blue ramps or decks.
Bare metal may require some finishing before painting and fitting to your restoration project.
The cab/chassis is thought to be based on a Thornycroft model. Ref: Richardson The Hornby Companion Vol 4 page 176.
