A reproduction replacement Matchbox Lesney Tow Hook for Earlier Issue Regular Wheels 1 to 75 Series.

Diecast metal towing pin and mounting plate. Will need some work to match to your restoration project.

Suits earlier issue models where the tow pin was cast as a part of the base plate. You will need to match the tow hook and the base plate for best fit. Gentle filing of the tow hook triangular base plate and the remnant of the tow hook section of your models base plate is best. Once matched and ready to fit, use a 2-part epoxy glue for best joint. Trim excess glue when dry and before painting the base plate black or appropriate model colour.
