Description

A reproduction replacement Matchbox Kingsize 18mm Square Tread Tyre Black Y062.

Suits Matchbox Kingsize models like the examples shown. Hard plastic tyre with alternating tread pattern on tyre surface. Sidewalls are plain and taper slightly to the hub.

Dimensions are approx: 18mm OD: 8.5mm ID:4.5mm thick.

Note that the plastic hubs are prone to shrinking over time and these tyres are made to fit hubs with some shrinkage. So they may be tight or loose depending on your hubs. Use a drop of super glue if loose and a piece of emery paper on the ID of the tyre if they are tight. Warm water also helps to heat the tyre and hub during fitting. If using glue, super glue will be permanent. You may also find PVA White Wood glue is sufficient and less permanent.
