An empty reproduction replacement Matchbox Lesney 13c Thames Wreck Truck C Style Repro Box.

Based on a Thames Trader chassis the 3rd Tow Truck issue is red in colour with side panel decals and a metal hook. Later the metal hook was changed to grey plastic, but it would be in the later issue D style box. This is the earliest of the two 13c box styles.

The C style boxes featured new artwork commonly with the line art of the model filled in with all red ink. The main change was the branding change from “Moko Lesney” to just “A Lesney” in the scroll banner on the main face.
