An empty reproduction Matchbox Lesney Superfast 50 d Ford Kennel Truck Transitional F Repro Box

Introduced in 1969 just prior to Superfast wheels, the Matchbox Lesney Ford Kennel Truck model included the Autosteer feature.

The model was then converted to Superfast wheels. This box suits the early thin wheel version of the Superfast model.

There are three variants of the F style box featuring the regular wheels model in the main face picture. The first variant was issued as a plain box. The second had the AutoSteer logo added to the front faces and end flaps. The third variant is the transitional Superfast box which displays the regular wheels image but has the Superfast logo on all faces of the box for the very early thin wheel superfast model.
